Lesson Task – Creating an Animation in After Effects- week 27

Here is my version of the rise project:

My own idea for an animation is to create a swirling diamond. I will later use this diamond as a transition for my main project.

Final result:

This is my first AE project using Cinema 4d, so I had all kinds of trouble, and it doesn’t match my storyboard completely. Diamond rendering takes a lot of computer power, so I have to rethink my final AE project in order to be able to finish on time.

I know there is a funny reflection in my diamond. I tried a background image that only showed up inside the diamonds reflection. Odd. I need to learn more.
